The Award Winning Venue Recognized as
“The Best Mountain Venue for Photos in the U.S.”

Thank you so much for taking the time to inquire about Creekside Lodge and Willows Pavilion, two featured venues at Lower Lake Ranch.  Lower Lake Ranch happens to be the oldest guest ranch in the State of Colorado, dating back to the 1860’s when it was first homesteaded by Anton Glasmann’s family. By 1878,the ranch manager and wife, Johann & Elizabeth Jensen continued the Guest Ranch operation after Anton’s death, building the ranch to over 3500 acres of Great Outdoor recreation.

Today, Lower Lake Ranch is a continuation of years where guests have enjoyed this Rocky Mountain Venue known as,  A Great Little Mountain Resort. The ranch has been a place to build memories like no other.  LLR staff has been privileged to host many 4th, 5th and 6th generation events and even weddings where during their stay a Granddaughter getting married learned that LLR was the ranch  that grandma or grandpa attended a summer camp in the early 1920, or she learned this was the guest ranch where their grandparents attended a picnic at the Old Historical pavilion back in the 50’s or 60’s.

Great Views, Great Food, Unbelievable Hospitality, and Years and Years of future memories, is what Lower Lake Ranch is all about. If you have any questions during or after your visit or would like to make a Reservation, please ask or call staff later at 303-838-6622.

“Willows” is a unique Venue right here in Colorado.  The heritage of when group gatherings began, dates back to the late 1860’s.  This rare find was discovered and homesteaded by Anton Glassman, an immigrant living the American Dream of owning land and creating a Guest Ranch.   Anton named the ranch, Lionshead Guest Ranch.  Willows is just one venue within the original ranch setting. A high valley location at 8000 feet among the whispering Willows, along a flowing creek that is surrounded by Majestic Mountain peaks, that describes “Willows”.

This haven is the perfect destination location for an intimate getaway to a quintessential Colorado mountain vacation for a wedding vacation, a family reunion, a group of friends, or simply a business retreat get-a-way.   Lodging at Willows allows you to choose from one to four bedroom private cabins each decorated in distinct mountain decor and can accommodate from 38 to 60 overnight guests. During your stay at The Ranch,  take the day fly fishing in our pristine mountain lakes,  hike the many trails on the ranch or bring your bike  or your horse and explore over 19 miles of open trails on the adjacent Staunton State Park trail system.

Rock Crop is an Outdoor Mountain Rustic Setting for those Outdoorsy Brides & Grooms that are looking for a FABULOUS OUTDOOR VENUE to host a Casual Ceremony and Reception Wedding outdoors.

“Rock Crop” at the The Ranches Park is where peace and tranquility is the norm.  Views of a soaring bald eagle or a double rainbow is the scenic backdrop guests have enjoyed over the years.   This wilderness area on the ranch has captured a special recreational place, a setting of what the original ranch founders were determined to provide guests.   Years past of baseball games played in nickers by the guys and long dresses by the girls has past to outdoor games of Fris-bee golf  or Volleyball or Horseshoes or Rope ladder.

Imagine hosting an outdoor wedding surrounded by Rock formations, Rushing Waters, Singing Whispering Willows a place that was here before the pioneers, a place where you can bathe your hands in the rippling waters or make a life long commitment of love to someone you cherish.
